SAFTU100 Fiberglass Facing Tissue (100g/m²)

Hide Wool Fibers. Stop Board Sagging.

SAXOBRAN® We design this 100g/m² facing tissue for mineral wool, gypsum, and glass wall lines. Our team found that thin facings let loose dust leak out and look patchy after painting. SAFTU100 gives you a thick, clean white cover. It blocks loose fibers completely, uses less glue on your lamination line, and keeps interior acoustic panels flat and sag-free.

Industrial Pain Points Solved

Fiberglass Facing Tissue

Fiberglass

Fiber Bleed-Through & Dust Leakage

  • Loose yellow wool fibers and dark backing spots show through thin facing veils. Dust leaks into the air, irritating workers and causing paint to peel or bubble during final installation.

  • High-Density Fiber Shield creates a tight, uniform physical barrier that traps 99% of loose mineral wool dust. Clean White Base, Blocks ugly dark backings, giving you a bright, ready-to-paint surface.

Fiberglass Facing Tissue

Board Warp & Sagging Under High Humidity

  • Cheap organic facings soak up room humidity and stretch. This makes ceiling tiles and gypsum boards sag, warp, and slip out of their metal hanging grids.

  • Zero-Sag Glass Core: structural glass web does not stretch, even in 90% relative humidity.Maintains flat board geometry, eliminating sagging complaints from building sites.

Processing, Packaging & Logistics Quality

1

Temperature Range

Maintain warehouse temperature between 15°C and 30°C.

2

Humidity Limits

Keep humidity below 65% to stop water-based binders from softening.

3

Stacking Security

Please store the roll material on a clean tray. Do not stack pallets to avoid flattening the outer wraps.

Global Supply Chain Securement

  • Roll & Core Construction: Heavy-duty 3-inch cardboard cores stop roll crushing in tight shipping containers.

  • Sealed Barrier Packaging: Every roll gets wrapped in a thick, sealed PE moisture bag.

  • Anti-Shifting Loading:Rolls are secured with plastic strapping and protective corner boards on wooden pallets.

Technical Q&A

Q: How does this model differ fundamentally from standard, general-purpose glass veils?

  • A: Standard thin veils have open spaces that let wool dust escape and paint soak all the way through. SAFTU100 uses a tight fiber weave and a highly compatible organic binder. It stops glue from soaking through to the front while preventing mineral wool fibers from poking through the back.

Q: How do we get the best performance out of SAFTU100 when bonding it to mineral wool?

  • A: Keep your glue roller setting thin. You only need a thin, even coat of glue to bond this tissue. Excess glue will wet out the entire sheet, ruin the acoustic properties of your board, and cause wet spots that take too long to dry.

Q: What is the shelf life and storage limit after opening the original factory packaging?

  • A: Once open, the tissue can absorb moisture. In damp workshops, use the roll within 36 hours. If left open, the glass tissue will hold moisture, which turns to steam inside your laminating ovens and causes large air pockets and delamination. Wrap open rolls in plastic when not in use.
