1. Product Introduction

The single filament diameter of the high-strength tensile quartz fiber super fine yarn is only 5 μm. Compared with the traditional 7.5 μm quartz yarn, the tensile strength of the high-strength tensile quartz fiber super spun yarn is increased by 30% at the same linear density, thus making the fabric tensile resistant. 

The strength is also increased by about 30%, or the yarn used in composite materials with the same strength is reduced by 30%. Therefore, thinner parts can be designed with the same performance, or stronger parts can be made with the same thickness.

Since the specific surface area of the high-strength stretched quartz fiber super fine yarn is 33% higher than that of the traditional 7.5µm yarn, when compounded with resin, the bonding surface is increased by 33%, and the bond with the resin is stronger.

  •        Raw Material Purification

       Ultra-high purity SiO₂ (purity ≥ 99.95%) is prepared using high-purity quartz sand.

  •            Melt Drawing

Quartz is melted in a high-temperature electric furnace and drawn into continuous fibers through a stencil.

  • Surface Treatment

A high-temperature resistant wetting agent (such as a silane coupling agent) is applied to improve the bonding force between the fiber and the resin matrix.

  • Yarn Forming

Yarn of different specifications is produced through twisting, plying, and other processes, suitable for weaving, braiding, or winding.
